DIY Clipboards

My girls were begging me for tricked out clipboards so I finally decided to get them done.

I bought a couple of clipboards at Staples for $.99.

The paper combos I chose came from a paper pack I bought 1/2 price at Hobby Lobby.

I love these papers because they have so many coordinating prints.

And of course you have to have Mod Podge!

I'm not completely happy with this one because the paper got crooked somehow.  

I just spread the mod podge all over the clipboard, then put the paper down and 

just decorated it with more paper, chip board letters and ribbon.

This one had air bubbles in it and not completely happy with this one, but 

the kids love them and that is all that matters.

Heading to Disney World!!

We cannot wait until Spring Break this year!!!  We are taking the kids to Disney World!  Mike and I thought we would surprise the kids, but we just can keep good secrets quiet!  It's too much fun to tell them and see their reaction. The last time we went was 2008 and Sarah wasn't quite 3 so she is really going to have a big time this year!  She is going to get to ride so much more than last time!  I am a little worried though she is going to have meltdowns when she gets tired.  We are getting the dining plan so we each get a snack every day, but as much as Sarah eats.....she wants to eat every 30 minutes......I am going to make sure I have plenty of Chex Mix and trail mix to keep her belly full and her little crazy self happy.

We are driving down, and it's only about and 8-9 hour drive.  That's not bad and that's the only way we have ever gotten down there.  It's such a hassle and expensive to fly, I had rather just drive.  I am going to make sure their DS's are charged, iPods are charged, etc. because I can't deal with any shennanigans on that long drive.

This is the room we are staying in at the Port Orleans Riverside Resort.  It's being renovated and will be open March 9 (we are going March 18) so we will be one of the first families to stay in these cool rooms.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Mike and I decided not to do much this year because we are going on two vacations between now and the middle of May, one with the kids and one without.  I had rather us do something for our little sweethearts instead!  I did a few things for them after they went to bed so they would wake up to something fun!

I Love Pinterest

Since discovering Pinterest a few months ago, it has gotten my creative juices flowing.  I'm loving it.  I've made several recipes that I've found and made lots of crafts for Christmas and Valentine's day.  Here are a few things I've made.
